LAGOS TODAY FRIDAY 6TH OF FEBRUARY AS PUBLIC HOLIDAY

Considering the fact that some eligible voters are yet to collect their Permanent voter cards, The Lagos State Government has declared Friday (today) a work-free day for its workers. The government also urged private Sector employers to release their workers early to enable those of them who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter Cards to do so.  A statement by the Head of Service, Mrs. Oluseyi Williams, said the government was desirous of ensuring that all public servants in the state participated in the voting process. The statement urged the workers to take the opportunity of the holiday to collect their PVCs at their centres
