Details of the 2-yr old baby that was maltreated by a house help: Following reports that the two-year old baby seen in a video being tortured by a maid has passed on, we went down to work. And our investigations led us to the identity of the maid, her victim and her master. Read on. The two year-old is seen terribly tortured by a maid we have ably identified as Jolly Tumuhiirwe, 22, a born of Rukungiri District. We have also identified the toddler鈥檚 father as Erick Kamanzi, a loaded staff at a reputable NGO in Kampala who released the video yesterday mid-morning. The video captured by interior security cameras early last week at Kamanzi鈥檚 home of Naalya, reveals a breath-taking story where Tumuhiirwe is trying to feed the baby. The baby, whom we have established was sick at the time, exhibits difficulty in coping with the rough and speedy rate at which Tumuhiirwe fed her. Tumuhiirwe then turns to the porridge and started eating it. But the tot could not contain the stuffed food down her throat. She threw up dreadfully. This invited Tumuhiirwe鈥檚 wrath. She landed a hot slap on the kid before throwing her off the sofa, her face kissing the floor. She remained there for a few seconds before Tumuhiirwe followed. Using a rechargeable torch, she clobbered her severely. Not done, she started kicking her and stepping on her back in turns. She finally gave her the last kick which sent her silent and unable to move. Tumuhiirwe then picked the baby like by one hand and vanished in the next room. Father Arrested According to family sources, Kamanzi last week came home and found some bruises on the baby鈥檚 hind. He did not ask what happened but he hastily went to review the cameras which, he had taken long to monitor. This was last Saturday November 15th 2014. What he saw is what was uploaded on the video that has been circulating for a while now. Raged to the marrow, Kamanzi bounced on Tumuhiirwe (the house help) and clobbered her to pulp. Done with it, he turned to tend to the baby as Tumuhiirwe ran to police where, she reported an assault case against her Master Kamanzi. The Kiwatule police swung into action, raided Kamanzi鈥檚 home and arrested him. He promptly confessed to the charge before he was dragged to cells. After cooling down, Kamanzi asked the Cops to look at what made him clobber the maid. A mere look at the video changed the cops鈥� stance and released Kamanzi. 聽 Speaking to the investigator today, police chief spokesman CP Fred Enanga confirmed that Tumuhiirwe鈥檚 case had been taken over by the events. Reading the file number as CRB 1346/14 of Kiira Road, Enanga said Tumuhiirwe was yesterday charged under Anti-torture Act at Nakawa Court. But Enanga hastily adds that police are contemplating on revising the charge and upgrade it to attempted murder. He said the Tumuhiirwe will re-appear in Court on December 8th 2014. Efforts to get hints on the baby鈥檚 mother were futile as family sources maintained silence on the question. We have however established that Kamanzi is married to a beautiful Rwandese babe Angella whose reasons to stay away from her baby yet she doesn鈥檛 work, remains suspect. But this is another story for another day. It is said Tumuhiirwe was at the home for only three months.

THE SEADEVIL FISH CAUGHT ON VIDEO The Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute captured what it says are the first images and video of a female anglerfish, known as a Black Seadevil. With its jaw agape, exposing what appear to be fangs, it lives up to the name "Seadevil." But if you've seen the 2003 Pixar classic, "Finding Nemo," you might recognize the Seadevil as the fish that creeps up on an unsuspecting Nemo and Dory. The institute located the fish on a voyage with Doc Ricketts, their remotely operated vehicle, during a "midwater transect." "This means we 'fly' the robot through the water at a series of different depths (10 minutes at each depth), and count all the different types of animals we see," said institute spokeswoman Kim Fulton-Bennett. These transects have been taking place for over 20 years, and the Seadevil was certainly a big find. Though it won't win any beauty pageants, this creature just goes to show how they are still plenty of fish in the sea waiting to be discovered. CNN

On whether it worked, he admitted that it worked and added that if it was during a robbery operation it would have been impossible to arrest him. The dog he had sex with Yayah admitted that he was a member of the gang that has been terrorizing people along Lagos-Badagary expressway for years and said he regrets getting involved in robbery. On how he joined robbery, he said it was Ado that introduced him into robbery and ironically, he was the same person that handed him over to the police. On whether his neighbours knew he was sleeping with dogs, he said they thought that he was a lover of dogs, not knowing he was using them for sex. ISIS beheads American Abdul-Rahman Kassig

 In a video published to the Internet on Sunday -- purportedly from terror group ISIS -- militants claim to have beheaded American hostage Peter Kassig.

The video shows the aftermath of a beheading, in which the victim is not clearly recognizable. CNN has not been able to confirm the authenticity of the video nor the identity of the victim.

Kassig, 26, who converted to Islam in captivity, also went by the name Abdul Rahman Kassig.


He went to the Middle East as a U.S. soldier and returned as a medical worker, feeling compelled to help victims of war.

After returning to civilian life, he did aid work in Syria, where he was captured. He has been held hostage for over a year.

Kassig's life was threatened last month in an ISIS video that showed the apparent beheading of British aid worker Alan Henning.

Plea for mercy

A week after the video's release, Kassig's family released a YouTube video of its own, asking his captors to show mercy and free him.

Kassig's mother, Paula, addressed her son in the video. "We are so very proud of you and the work you have done to bring humanitarian aid to the Syrian people," she said.

The couple noted they were releasing the video on the same day of Islam's Eid al-Adah, or the Festival of Sacrifice, when Muslims slaughter lambs, goats, sheep and cattle and distribute the meat to the poor and their families.

2015 Nations Cup: Equatorial Guinea to host tournament

Equatorial Guinea have been named as the hosts for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, the Confederation of African Football has confirmed to the BBC.

Caf selected a replacement for Morocco after rejecting their request to delay the 17 January to 8 February finals.
Morocco were concerned over the spread of the outbreak of the Ebola virus.
Caf subsequently expelled Morocco from the relocated tournament, which will now be held in the country which co-hosted with Gabon in 2012.
Confederation of African Football's Junior Binyam told the BBC they have "no doubt" that it will be "a beautiful tournament" and one "up to the same standards of what we've seen in past years".
Equatorial Guinea will now take on sole responsibility for holding the 16-team event.
Caf said the decision was made after a meeting in Malabo on Friday between Equatorial Guinea's president Teodoro Obiang and Caf president Issa Hayatou.
African football's governing body also announced that Equatorial Guinea will play in the tournament - despite the team being disqualified in July for fielding an ineligible player in a preliminary qualifier against Mauritania on 17 May.
Hayatou said in a statement:  "The head of state of Equatorial Guinea agreed to host the competition.
"As a result, the Caf executive committee confirms that the tournament will go ahead and Equatorial Guinea will compete as the host nation.
"Caf wishes to express its sincere thanks to the Equatorial Guinean people, its government and particularly president Obiang."
Matches will be held at four venues in Bata, Ebebiyin, Mongomo and the capital Malabo. In 2012, only Malabo and Bata were used.
The draw for the finals will be in Malabo on 3 December
