GMB POST ELECTION PRESS STATEMENT

At exactly 5:15pm yesterday evening President Jonathan called to congratulate me on my victory. For this I want all Nigerians to join me in congratulating and appreciating Mr President for his statesmanship. President Jonathan engaged in a spirited campaign and was a worthy opponent. I extend my hand of fellowship to him. I look forward to meeting him soon as we plan the transition from one administration to another. He will receive nothing but understanding, cooperation and respect from me and my team. The good people of Nigeria, answered the call of history. When the account of this fine moment is written, it will be said that it was the people themselves who led this nation to democracy. You stood in line patiently for hours in the sun, rain and then in the dark to cast your ballots. Even when the vote was extended to Sunday in some places, you still performed your civic duty. You did so peacefully. You voted with your heart. Your vote affirms that you believe Nigeria’s future can be better than what it is today. You voted for change and now change has come. INEC has released the official results of the Presidential election. INEC has declared that I gained the most votes with the required spread and thus won this election. In a more profound way, it is you, Nigerians that have won. The people have shown their love for our nation and their belief in democracy. The declaration of INEC accurately reflects the will of the people. While there might have been some logistical obstacles and irregularities associated with the exercise, the result shall stand as what the people want. I thank all Nigerians who have made this day possible. Our country has now joined the community of nations that have used the ballot box to peacefully change an incumbent President in a free and fair election. To me this is indeed historic. Most people will welcome the result because it is the one they voted for. Others will naturally be disappointed. I ask that we all be circumspect, respectful and peaceful in these times. This was a hard- fought contest. Emotions were high. We must not allow them to get the better of us. This is not the time for confrontation. This is a moment that we must begin to heal the wounds and work toward a better future. We do this first by extending a hand of friendship and conciliation across the political divide. We hope and pray our friends in other parties reciprocate. I thank all the members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for their commitment and their hard work through the formation of the party, the campaigns and the Presidential elections. Let me equally extend my appreciation to the MEDIA, Civil Society and the Security agencies for their selfless service. The International press and our friends abroad deserve special commendation for their support throughout the process. We promise a robust and dynamic engagement with your countries in matters of mutual interest to nations. In the interim, I call on all Nigerians to be law abiding and peaceful. The eyes of the world were focused on us to see if we could vote in a peaceful way and carry out a representative election in an orderly manner. You have proven to the world that we are a people who have embraced democracy and a people who seek a of government by, for and of the people. We have put one party state behind us. You have voted for a party and president that will serve and govern but never rule over you. Change has come. A new day and a new Nigeria are upon us. The victory is yours and the glory is that of our nation - Nigeria I will make a more formal address to the nation today after receiving the certificate of return from INEC. May God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. General Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, President Elect, Federal Republic of Nigeria

Hanks Anuku Gets HIV/AIDS After Allegedly Sleeping With 80 Women

Nollywood Actor, Hank Anuku popularly known as Cobra who rose from zero to hero playing major lead roles in movies both in Nigeria and other African countries have tested positive to HIV. The born-again actor revealed in an interview that he left Nigeria on April 2011 to Zambia where he took part in various plays on teaching about HIV and AIDS without his wife and two kids for six month enjoying life and sleeping with 80 women. $
“Life in Zambia was heaven on earth because we could enjoy life, moving in all places but I was missing my family. During that time I had quite a number of sexual activities and I slept with different women. When I came back home I never took care of the family. I started drinking life a fish and became an irresponsible husband leaving the entire burden to my wife,” he said. The veteran actor also revealed he affected his wife knowing well he could be HIV positive “I got tested while I was in Zambia after one of my girlfriends advised me about her pregnancy. She had gone for pregnancy tests and during that time she was tested for HIV and the results was shocking, she was positive. She forced me to get tested but I could not come to terms with the results. After I got tested I came back to Zimbabwe and I kept quiet about the issue. I never told my wife about the issue. I infected her but I regret. I later on received some counseling and it well well,” he explained “During my peak of popularity I had sex with approximately 80 women, within Harare and Zambia. In 2002 it was so amazing to be on TV. I abused the fame. To make matters worse I lacked counseling and I failed to handle it properly, leaving me in this mud. I am now a born again Christian with UFIC under the guidance of Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa.” He continued.

INEC POSTPONE 2015 GENERAL ELECTION TO MARCH 28 AND APRIL 11

Following a series of marathon meetings today, Jega announced the postponement of the February 2015 presidential, national assembly, state assembly and gubernatorial elections.
According to him, ‘There are critical things that fall outside the control of an electoral management body. There are a number of issues that are critical to elections like security which is not under the control of INEC. I was invited to brief the Council of State on INEC’s preparedness for 2015 elections. The summary of my presentation to the COS is that INEC is substantially ready to conduct elections. In addition, in the delivery of election materials, INEC has made delivery to the states. INEC is capable of delivering free and fair elections. However, as I mentioned earlier, there are other factors to conduct while planning elections like securityl. I’ll like to reiterate here that INEC is an Electoral Management Body and not a security agency. In consideration of the advice by the security agencies, it will be unconscionable to have elections without adequate security.’ Speaking further, he said: ‘In consideration of the advice by the security agencies, it will be unreasonable to have elections without adequate security to play its traditional role in providing security during the elections. The questions from stakeholders has been:1) should INEC proceed with the elections despite consultations with the security agencies ..2) take into consideration the concerns and reschedule the date of elections. INEC not being a security agency and concern for the staff and observers during elections, INEC cannot guarantee protection. Under this circumstances, few EMBs will proceed with elections after the security consultations. Consequently the Comm has rescheduled the elections, Pres, Sen and HOA has been moved to Mar 28. Gov and SOA has been rescheduled to April 11th.We in INEC promise to deliver free, fair and credible elections. We implore the security agency to stick to their promise and commitment made to INEC.We wish to call on all Nigerians to accept this in good faith to deepen democracy in our country Nigeria.’

Bruce JennerSexual Preference Uncertain After Cross-Sex Hormone Therapy

Bruce is in the middle of Cross-sex Hormone Therapy, which involves heavy doses of estrogen.   The estrogen drives down levels of testosterone and the brain "feminizes" in the vernacular, he begins to "think like a woman." Bruce Jenner who has been married three times and produced 6 children could become attracted to men after a powerful element of his transition into a woman takes hold this according to medical experts and members of the transgender community. Several prominent doctors in the field tell us, the hormones often change sexual preference.
Cases where sexual preferences change from women to men, the patient often had suppressed feelings before the transition and the estrogen allows their true feelings to surface. Bruce is in a transformative stage, where his skin will change, and his breasts will grow and his voice will become more feminine. The changes are enhanced by procedures Bruce has already completed, including Botox, facial laser hair removal and several other surgeries, including his laryngeal shave.

Doctors advise pulling life support from Bobbi Kristina

Bobby Brown is adamant ... he doesn't want to take his daughter Bobbi Kristina off life support because he believes in God-driven miracles. Whereas the doctors have advised him she will not improve and pulling life support is an appropriate action.
Brown and his family -- who are deeply religious -- believe doctors cannot account for miracles ... miracles the family has seen before. Brown could come around to the doctor's point of view as time goes on ... but as of late Thursday he's not budging. When his daughter was transferred to Emory University Hospital Tuesday Brown was hopeful the renowned staff could do something, but the fact that there's been no change is what doctors believe is the handwriting on the wall.

TOO BAD.... US couple left toddlers in freezing car

Jennie Chang, 46 — who works for the US Food and Drug Administration — and Christopher Lucas, 41, were arrested Saturday and charged with attempted child cruelty after someone saw the small children alone in the car and called police.
An officer looked into the Volvo and saw the youngsters, aged 22 months and 2.5 years, strapped into their seats. “Both children were wearing coats, but neither were wearing gloves or hats. One of the children, a small girl, was hysterically crying,” a police report said, noting the temperature was about 35 degrees Fahrenheit (1.7 Celsius.) As police figured out how to get into the locked car, Lucas emerged from the restaurant and told officers that he had been monitoring the children via an iPhone. The call had been connected for 58 minutes, police said. The Washington Post reported that the parents live in an expensive neighborhood not far from the restaurant. Court documents reviewed by the Post state that Lucas, a software engineer, is originally from France and Chang works for the US Food and Drug Administration. The children, who were not physically harmed, were placed in protective custody and the parents jailed until they appeared before a judge Monday, when they pleaded not guilty and were released. The parents were barred from seeing their young children before their next court date on February 18.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was found unconscious in a bathtub after an apparent drug overdose

Brown was found under circumstances similar to those of her mother's death nearly three years ago.
On Saturday morning, Roswell, Ga. police responded to a 911 call and arrived at Brown's home at 10:25 a.m. In a statement Officer Lisa Holland said police administered life-saving measures until she could be transported to a hospital. "Her husband and a friend located her in a bath tub this morning and she was unresponsive. He started CPR and a police officer took over life-saving measures until an ambulance arrived. She was transported to the hospital. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers." Brown, 21, was alive when taken to North Fulton Hospital where she has since been stabilized. "She's still breathing; she is alive," Holland said in a press conference held later in the afternoon. The officer did not offer any additional information about Brown's state. Local police have a search warrant and are sweeping the house for drugs as they continue their ongoing investigation. "We are interviewing all the family members and friends that were at the house at the time," Holland also said in the same press conference. "... We don't know that if it was an accident or what this could be." Brown's mother, Houston, died of accidental drowning on Feb. 11, 2012. The effects of heart disease and cocaine use also contributed to her death. And Brown's incident comes two weeks after Lifetime aired the Angela Bassett-directed biopic, Whitney. Bobby Brown, who was not in Atlanta at the time of the incident, immediately flew to George.

Human doll.Justin Jedlica risks blindness to have his forehead veins removed. undergone 190 cosmetic procedures

The 34-year-old  Justin Jedlica who is addicted to plastic surgery got his veins removed at the risk of even going blind. It was an extremely risky surgery as the surgeons needed to go in through the inside of his eyelids to be able to burn the veins off. The man from New York told the daily that many surgeons had turned him away and refused to perform the surgery.
He admits that every part of his body has been "worked on" but he claims that he is still far from perfect and wants to still keep pushing the limits in his bid to remain one of the most extreme plastic surgery addicts. Recently, he also underwent a four-piece back enhancement surgery using implants that he had handcrafted himself, the daily revealed. Some of the procedures that he has undergone inclue  five rhinoplasties, a cranial brow bone lift, shoulder implants and augmentations to his cheeks, lips, buttocks and chin. Justin's thirst to be more 'plastic' is far from quenched. He is looking forward to getting abdominal implants and calf implants.

Omonigho Abraham whose face was chewed by Dogs returns from India

The four year old boy who was attacked by dogs in the Igando area of Lagos State, has returned into the country from an India medical trip.
The boy returned into Nigeria on Thursday, yesterday, with his parent, Odia, and mother, Helen, who went with him on the trip. Last year, October 7, 2014, the young boy was attacked by two dogs at their house on Adegboyega Street, Akesan Estate. Omonigho was playing with his two brothers, Osemudiamen and Bobby, when the dogs, owned by their landlord, pursued them. While the others escaped because they were older, the dogs bit off Omonigho's scalp and dragged him around. Policemen and residents who came around could not rescue him until his mother arrived at the scene and fought off the dogs. PUNCH had reported that his stay at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, was marred by complaints of neglect and at a point, his father raised the alarm that Omonigho’s condition had worsened. In December, Odia announced that the Delta State Government and a non-governmental organisation, Global Initiative for Peace, Love and Care had concluded plans to fly him to India. An alternative plan by the Lagos State Government was turned down by the victim’s family, who said the India travel plan had been concluded. The four-year-old departed for India on November 28, 2014 despite concerns by the Lagos State Commissioner of Health, Mr. Jide Idris, that his condition was delicate and needed special attention. When PUNCH Metro spoke with the family during the week while they were still in India, the mother said there were improvements in her son’s condition. She added that the family would be arriving Lagos on Thursday. His father, Odia, on Thursday later told the newspaoer that the family finally arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport around 2pm. He said:  “We touched down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport around 2pm. We are on our way home now. The doctors in India have completed their job. My boy is back to normal. I thank God that everything is okay.” He appreciated the efforts of the Delta State Government, the NGO and the media for the attention given to his son. He also acknowledged the support of the Lagos State Government during his admission in LASUTH

Shocking!!!!!!!! Mother Slaughters her children to stop them from crying

A 29years old mother of three Christina Booth who lives in Washington, finds it difficult to manage her kids alone and thought all she could do was to silence them totally.
Christina Booth, who is married to a millitary man was blessed with 3 lovely kids, a 2-year-old and 6-month-old twins. The woman is being treated for postpartum depression and says she slashed the children to silence them for her husband, Over the weekend, Christina Booth called 911 to report that her three children were crying nonstop and "needed medical attention," On saturday, Washington police saw the twins on the couch crying "uncontrollably" and "bleeding from their necks." One officer then went upstairs and found the couple's 2-year-old in bed, under the covers with "dry blood all over her." She told a police detective that she was having "a really rough time" taking care of her three children. She said that her husband "never helps" and that he "gets very annoyed when the children cry and make noise." The children were taken to a private hospital for immediate surgery and they are in stable condition but the mother has been arrested and is being held on $3 million bail Hmmm..... What an excuse

Mikel Ruffinelli is the only lady that has hips that measures more than 8feet wide
“Everywhere I go I get attention for my hips — both good and bad,” Mikel said. “When I walk down the street, I can hear the shutters going on camera phones and people laughing at me…Some people assume I’ve had surgery to enhance my…hips, but it’s all natural. I think that it’s the result of having four children, but large hips also run in my family.” Mikel was a normal-sized youngster and even in her early 20s tipped the scales at around 180 pounds. But at 22, she put on more than 50 pounds after having first child Andrew, now 18. And after daughters Destynee, 13, Autumn, 8, and Justyce, 7, followed, her weight and hips ballooned further. But despite her curves she stands at just 5 feet 4 inches and has a proportionally small 40-inch waist “When I travel by plane or train I have to buy two seats because I can’t fit…into one,” Mikel revealed. “It gets quite expensive. I drive a truck rather than using public transport wherever possible, because it’s big enough to fit all of me in. Going through tight spaces is sometimes a problem for me and I have to go through doorways sideways.” Yet she still enjoys joining in family activities such as keep-fit routines at home and trips to the park and seaside — where she shows off her 42D breasts in a revealing two-piece costume. “Finding clothes to fit my bottom half is a challenge,” she said. “I have my lingerie custom-made by seamstresses.” Mikel also defiantly vows never to diet after vainly struggling for years with slimming plans.
